Getting Here…

Carpooling is encouraged!

The cheapest way to get to Lopez Island is to take the Washington State Ferry from Anacortes, WA. It is a stunningly beautiful 40-50 minute ride. The Ferry schedule for September won’t be announced until this Spring, we will email you with more information once it is. We can also provide you with a commuter pass which brings the vehicle fare down to $28 instead of $40 round trip. Passenger fares are $13 round trip. If you are unable to get a ferry reservation you can pay to leave your car on the Anacortes side for $8/day.

We would love for our out of town guests to join us Friday evening if possible. If you’re flying in to Seattle and taking the Airporter bus, that likely means finding a flight that arrives before noon (or else getting in the night before). If you are renting a car or carpooling you could safely land by 2pm.

IMPORTANT! You will need a reservation for the ferry if you are driving on! Your reservation is not your ticket. Once you RSVP, we will email you when it is time to make a reservation – usually reservations open 2 months prior to the travel date.

The Bellair Airporter shuttle runs bus service from SEA-TAC airport, Everett Payne Field and Seattle Convention Center to Anacortes ferry for $85 round trip. Reservations are suggested but you can make them the day before.

For those traveling from the West coast and Denver, Everett Airport (PAE) flights have been competitive to SEATAC, though the bus fare is the same from either airport..

Another option is flying straight to Lopez via Kenmore air – Seattle Lake Union to Fisherman Bay Flights from $149.00 each way.
